Anyway, I felt like updating my life. High school has been awesome. I love all my classes. Yearbook is only awesome because it's tons and tons of free time. (Tough my really good friend in the class ran away from home/got kicked out, so I'm sort of alone now.) My classes have been going relatively well. I changed seats in Science to sit by a kid named Grant. I love it cause now I can see all of my friends really easy to talk to them.

This week end I walked to Starbucks with Christie and Austin then later I spent the night at Shannon's, gave Mason his birthday gift with Christie and Brittany, adn then saw I Am Legend with Shannon and Natalie. the next day I went to Veronica's 18th birthday party. There were three Sams, including myself. XD It was radical.
Everyone was really cool and friendly. Made me realize how much middle school sucked.

So I've seen some really great movies recently. I mean, I'm on this streak of just plainly awesome movies.

Sweeney Todd
I Am Legend
Lord of War

I Am Legend doesn't really follow the book at all, but it's still absolutely amazing. The part with the dog, in my opinion, is sadder in the book, but I like how they kill his wife and son in the movie better.
Sweeney Todd was good, but it wasn't "OH MY GOD THAT'S AMAZING" cause well.. I just think had it been done by somebody else it wouldn't be anybody's favorite musical. Definitely not Steven Sondheims best, but whatever. (: Still awesome.
And Lord of War - big news, one of my life long goals was to see a movie with Jared Leto in it. HUZZAH! And the movie is so sad. Seriously, I just wanted to... kill myself when Jared dies. It's just like, "AHHH NICHOLAS CAGE!!! DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!" and yea I just... freaked. Nicholas Cage is my favorite actor and he's a super duper bad guy and yea. ): Brings a whole new meaning to the idea of 'rotagonist' and 'antagonist' cause you always assume the protagonist is gonna do something heroic and good in the end...

So yea. I Am Legend probably would have pissed me off more had I not read the book, but I knew everything to expect and I was already pissed off by the book and the movie isn't nearly as upsetting cause at least Robert Neville dies a hero in the movie and it was cool because the director did a lot of his own additional work so even the people who loved the book saw the movie differently enough to have an entirely new opinion and well, it was just spectacular. And Lord of War is a movie I could watch again and again. (:
